As you have probably surmised, I am not the greatest fan of winter. I do, however, appreciate how beautiful it can be during certain conditions. We have not had a chance to visit Elk Island this winter too often but, even so, came out with bunch of nice shots from our outings. Today, part one, shot last year, at the beginning of the season. It is such a pleasure to do some landscape and nature photography over there. Take a couple of hours of peace and quiet and just admire this beautiful world. And, since winter is almost over here, on the prairies, lets take a moment to look at it, before it's all gone and spring rules the world once again ;D
