It's this time of year, ladies and gentleman.. A very cold morning (close to -20oC) and moisture in the air has produced some pretty results

Spring Is Finally Here - Macro Photography
The World in Yellow - Macro Photography
It's been a long time since I have dedicated a post to just macros.. It's gotten cold yet again and, it looks like, winter is not ready to move on at present. Not that there was a chance of that but .. eternal hope and the like ;D Oh well, we'll have to wait for spring some more, but don't despair. At least in pictures we can find some wonderful color, borrowed from other seasons. I'm in mood for yellow in nature today and I do hope you'll find it as enjoyable as I do. I love macro photography. Love the fact that one can concentrate on a detail and that one can have wonderful colors in the background without sacrificing the main subject. Grant it, it it's not so easy to make macro interesting, but I hope, I have ben close enough to it that you'll take a moment to look at these ;D Have a wonderful day everybody! Kasia
Wishing You All A Very Merry Christmas!
It is hard to believe that 2013 is almost over.. The year has flown so fast again, that it is hard to remember what has happen. Finally, though, there is time to relax, grab a cup of tea and enjoy some holiday cheer, with lights on, Christmas tree and my family around. I don't know about you, but I find that world lit with Christmas lights seems so much warmer and so much more beautiful. With great pleasure I would like to share some of my Christmas world with you today and wish you all wonderfully relaxing and peaceful Christmas. Have a very merry Christmas, guys! ;D Kasia
First sign!
Finally!!! First signs of Spring! I took a drive today to see if there are any pussy willows finally out there and to my great pleasure I have found some!! My trip was rather eventful, because not only I have found what I was looking for but also what I wasn't.. You ask, what else I found? Well, a bit of car trouble :(. As I stopped by the side of the road to pick up a few branches I have turned on my hazard lights thinking, better safe than sorry, even if there was no traffic on this particular road. As I was getting ready to go back home I reached to turn off the lights and they wouldn't. What's more, the switch, after being pressed slightly harder than before decided to disappear under my dashboard... Needless to say, after I got home I had to drop off my lovely branches and drive me and the kids to the service station to have my car fixed.. I bit ironic to drive to the service centre just to have the hazard lights fixed, don't you think?! ;D On the way there I've met a lot of very nice people who on, almost each set of red lights, asked me if I was aware that my hazard lights ware on.. I thank you strangers for noticing and taking time to let me know! It was very kind of you! And though I was fully aware, this time, I am very happy to say that people still care! And the best part is that I have finally gotten to see the first true signs that Spring is here and that I am able to share them with you!! And though I am sure we still are going to face uncertain weather I wish us all a very happy Spring!!! Kasia
Bored, freezing outside.... more macros!!!
Kids went to bed, wife went shopping, what a guy to do?? I can see flurry of answers to this question, but what I did was grab a camera, found some interesting things/ideas, and off we go. You guessed it, more macros. Also was able to finish my little stamp, which can be seen in the new pictures. A little token, that says these are mine and only mine. Then again no one else would have confessed to these anyway. Out of the macro set I tried something different, more artsy. I like it... and not because I made it, but because it has a certain feel to it. Here is a sample
Enjoy. Again thoughts are most welcome :)
