I wanted to try this type of photo for a long while, just never got around to it. So last night I decided to force my wife to drive, and I sat in the back seat with my camera wedged between the seats. The camera has to be very secure in the car, because the bumps in the road make everything shake. When it is secure at least the inside of the car come out unshaken. It wasn't easy, this experiment, but I know what to do now. Small apperture, around f11 or higher, and either set the camera on manual and play with the shutter time, or leave in on aperture priority, and hope for the best. Also setting focus to manual and infinity, makes things a little easier. Enjoy!
M3
On our recent trip to Yellowknife, I had a great opportunity to take my good friend's BMW M3 for a spin. I must say, that it was an amazing experience. I was able to snag some shots of it, but I think these came out the best. To me they show the hidden dark power of the car, that can be unleashed with surprising ease. It is a scary, exhilarating car.
Old Cars
These are some older photos taken at a local garage. They make these little toys over there. When I say toys, I mean drivable toys. It wasn't easy to take these photos, since the garage was full of these gems, and hard to setup between them. I think these two photos are one of the best that came out of the shoot.
Thoughts?
Junk Yard
Visited a lovely Junk Yard today with two friends of mine. One could spend days there. Unfortunately the grounds were still wet, and all of us got soaked feet. It's really a huge place. It was quite amazing to see all the old, very old cars. Here are some pictures, and the rest can be found on my Flickr account.
Enjoy :)
