Lifestyle Photography - Girl in the Orchard

7-sexy-woman-portrait-lifestyle-garden-edmonton-photographer.jpg

After the cold session of Sensual Portrait of a Girl in the Rain, I've decided to give the model a bit of a break, and just shoot a natural lifestyle portrait session in the garden.  It was a little windy, but I thought that this would bring a bit of life to the images.  The session was bordering on boudoir, but I wanted to approach it differently.  I wanted more of a natural fun in the garden portrait session.  I think I captured it.  Enjoy! portrait lifestyle girl woman garden edmonton photography

Longing for spring - part 2

Well, since my post about saying goodbye to winter, sort of blew up in my face yesterday, when we received about 4cm of nice fresh snow.  Theoretically  it's spring, but practically it is still winter here in Alberta.  So since Kasia posted some really wonderful flowers last time. I thought that the images of our apple trees from last year would be fitting.  I guess our apple trees will be that way again very soon, but for me it just can't be soon enough. Mac

Apple iPad

Well the iPad is an absolutely amazing little device. Since the time in the hospital I've been using it to work, edit pictures, blog, play games...etc. Yes you saw that right, edit pictures. I have found this awesome application for the iPad called "Photo fx Ultra". It can add all kinds of different effects to your photos, with a lot of settings. Using my iPhone, I can transfer the photos via another app to the iPad, then edit the photos to my liking and using "Blogpress" app I can post all of this to my blog. Yes I can do all that with a laptop, but the cheapest Macintosh laptop is about $1000, and the iPad is about half the price, also it's smaller, has an amazing touch screen, and the battery lasts almost forever. It is definitely like a little laptop replacement, with amazing features. Here are some shots taken with the iPhone then edited on the iPad. Enjoy!

Fall is here

Fall is here.  This starts a great season in colours, and beauty, as the world prepares itself for the long winter ahead.  At least here in Edmonton.  Our apple trees were, again,  very fruitful this year.  We have so much of all kinds of different apple preserves from the years before, that this year we let it go.  It saddens me to all that fruit unpicked, but then when I remember the amount of work it takes to go through one batch of these, I just shake my head and let the apples fertilize the ground.
